Messiah of Israel/Messias van Israel

The Messiah of Israel is always a dynamic subject. Much contention comes into play the minute this salient issue is addressed. God's desire is that this message must again be brought to the attention of His People. Many misinterpret Scripture and all because of doctrinal prejudices. Let's therefore bide by Scripture pleasing God more than man. It is an old audio that is again published here. Should you want to get in touch with Ester kindly do so via our Contact facility on this website. What I feel like adding to this very viable subject, is that the God of Israel is first-and-foremost a God of reality. Mere words are therefore not the way to go, but searching the Messianic prophecies, also the meaning of wording applied by God in prophecy, taking note too of miracles and works of faith - also applying this reality to Yeshua who was born at the right time, fulfilling the Law in every detail and seeing Him then in His capacity as the pre-existent Messenger of the Covenant who had to put on flesh in order to "tabernacle" among His own - this reality par excellence, will reconnect God's people fully to their great and awesome Deliverer of old. Taking then note of the two-fold ministry of Messiah, (1) as Suffering Servant of God (Isaiah 53) and (2) after having come to fulfil the requirements of the Law, ascending His Throne as victorious Davidic King and who will then reign from Jerusalem in God's appointed time (See God, His Son and Creation on our Christian Jewish (Judeo-Christian) Studies (on this web site). May Messiah return ASAP for the world is in dire need of PEACE AND HOLY PROSPERITY!

Listen   Download 1: Messiah of Israel is the focal point of our faith in God

The Scriptures testify about Him

The expectations of His People are based on His real and active Presence in days of old.

No matter the cost, this message must be kept alive for God will, in His appointed time, prove Himself and His promises as real and true. He is already doing so and He has done that so often in years gone by!

Apologies for background noise. It is difficult to patch-up mistakes made but please bear with me - it was a totally off-the-cuff message, so please note the following: 2 Thes 2 speaks of "Christ destroying Antichrist with the breath of His coming" and 1 Thes. 4.12+ of Jesus' reunion with His own at His Second Coming ; Ps 40.8... "in the scroll it is written of me, see I am coming...." while Zech. 13.6 testifies of the "wounds in (between) your hands..." ( Hebrew Bible).

Listen   Download 4: Jesus, Engel van die Verbond?

Mag ons Jesus `n Engel maak?

Is daar net beskermengele?

True and Apostate Christendom.......

Somewhere in the OT God had given direction, namely "they shall try to bring a vision into fulfilment", in other words, not seeing its fulfilment and clearly the way "they" want to see it fulfilled. It seems this relates to Ezekiel's vision. The Lord keeps directing my attention to this prophetic statement and I will deal with it ASAP. Another point of interest in these days is the Isaiah prophetic word, "those who destroyed the temple shall rebuild it" - also something that is, as it appears, applied to today, however, this prophetic statement must also be placed in context for it seems it had a bearing on the temple destruction in 586 BCE and which temple was later rebuilt (by the Jews themselves) and who had caused it to be destroyed (see the Book of Jeremiah on the Babylonian invasion and the ensuing history concerning the Temple destruction). Although we want to see Israel emerging victoriously now, the only one who will bring this to reality is Messiah Himself! Let's therefore pray for Messiah to be revealed to Israel all the more stronger for then the world at large will have peace! The prophetic word of God shall never return to Him void for He alone is God and His spoken (prophetic) word can never be nullified by mortal man.

ALSO LISTEN TO A-0036 (Movement of the Spirit is a Movement of Gospel Truth) for added info on Messiah's revelation. Biblical Studies on the Sacred Name, and God, His Son and Creation (see our Christian Jewish Studies) may also be consulted. Concerning my glib reference to the Gospel of John (A-0036), more on Jn 14 on Christian Jewish Studies. This Gospel is a treasure indeed, however, objectivity must be maintained for it seems there were tampering with this Gospel that cannot be overlooked and just as there was with the older translations of 1 Jn 5.7 (Three witnesses in heaven). The big question here is indeed: Who were John's opposition and which answer will help us to get to the bottom of 2 Thes. 2, 1; 2 Tim. 4, 1 Jn 2 and 4, etc. Briefly, those who had joined the ranks of the apostles but who again severed ties with them at a later stage - the forerunners of the very popular "Church Fathers"? It is about time to ask: Who among the current Bible Scholars have the guts to boldly address this particular matter?

Concerning Messiah: Although references to the Angel of the Covenant do appear in the rabbinical literature, there was definitely (!) a time when this subject was either avoided or heavily suppressed. Making the Angel of the Covenant the "God of Israel" who revealed His Name to Moses (Ex. 3) seems to still be a critical issue for it is reasoned that "God" is Spirit and if the Angel of God is made the Son, then why was Jesus' angelic pre-existence subtly phased out by post-apostolic leadership? - they were restricted to OT "theophanies" (deity appearances) whereas the Son was, according to Paul, the first of creation, namely as chief of all God's angelic host! Although He was then "Messenger" of God (should we want to avoid His angelic status), He could appear as a man or as an angel to "earthly created man", something that was restricted to the Son's revelation, whereas God the Father was a Spirit being who could never be seen! Surely this is Biblical!

Jesus' baptism by John the Baptist indeed comes to our minds here too and therefore it is reasoned that "all three persons in the Godhead" rose from the water, after Jesus' immersion by John, and which would then imply that God the Father also needed to be baptized as well as the Holy Spirit (for this is what I heard a Trinitarian preacher proclaiming on DSTv, wording that does not align with God's Word - although John heard the voice of God witnessing about His Son (Yeshua/Jesus) and although the Holy Spirit descended there on the Son, LIKE a dove (=imagery). So let's tread softly when it comes to making glib statements just to keep the Trinitarian doctrine in place.

Concerning my interest in the Angel of the Covenant: My personal inspiration was fuelled by my father who was a prophet anointed by Holy Spirit like the prophets of old. His mother was directly from Jewish descent (Fischer) in whose lineage there seems to have been rabbis (how many I don't know) He was not a wishy-washy fortune teller but God directed him in the Scriptures in a remarkable way, how to interpret them - Jesus appeared to him giving him instructions how to interpret the Scriptures (something he was always involved with during his whole lifetime and Jesus also gave him revelations ahead of his times (1910-1997). He had seen Yeshua (Jesus) many times during his lifetime and he could describe His appearances in great detail when witnessing, telling believers (!) about the risen or crucified Jesus (Yeshua). Most of the times He saw Him in His bodily form, as He was seen by people during His earthly ministry, but He also encountered Him in visions as Angel of the Lord. He brought Jesus boldly and enthusiastically as the Old Testament Angel of the Covenant since 1957 (not just as a mere appearance or theophany) and I know this message was rejected by the majority of Christians at the time - some, to this very day, bear a grudge, believing that it was a "false" message spread, yet today many acknowledge Jesus (Yeshua) as the OT "Angel of the Covenant" yet many are too scared to openly proclaim it.

When I began evangelising among the Jews, bringing this message on God's instruction, I encountered heavy (!) opposition. After almost 25 years of ongoing spreading of this message, we have now at last reached the stage where it is openly acclaimed as "gospel" truth. The Lord also instructed me to research my Jewish roots, revealing where to begin searching, and to study Hebrew - my path has been very difficult thusfar and my battle for doing what the Lord had demanded of me, had also prevented me from focusing squarely on Hebrew, with the result that, after some years of studying it, I am glad that I have begun the journey although I could have been much further had it not been for many set-backs I've had in the interim. The good thing about the spreading of the Gospel is, that God will always timely anoint vessels who can take things further than you yourself could ever have dreamt of accomplishing. Although my voice is then hardly noticed, I thank God that I could have been faithful in my task up until now although I wish I could have done so much more - my path is before my Lord who knows the obstacles I had to cope with. We can then indeed have all the "right" memberships and education (our so-called "register", and demographics) but once we have grown too big for God within ourselves (having become too proud and especially overly relying on prestigious "learnedness", He can work no reality through us and what we then bring, may indeed fall well on the ears of the like-minded, but it will be to no avail! Our Master walked His way to Calvary in humility, making a show openly of what pride and self-glory can do to mankind. Therefore we must watch and pray, lest we be found wanting in the eyes of the high and mighty Lord of lords and King of Kings!

I agree fully with the latest research done on the Name of God (Jehovah and not Yahweh) although I myself have often referred to Yahweh, the name ascribed by past (Gentile) scholars, however, we must never forget the apostate influence the Essenes have had on even the (so-called secretly pronounced) Name of God, in other words not to mention it at all, for it was not God who gave such a command. And then, for those who love Yeshua HaMaschiach, the New Testament Name is what counts for us today, as it was under the New and Better Covenant, that the One who had spoken to Moses in the bramble bush, put on flesh (in order to tabernacle (!) among His own). The Name (Jehovah in pronunciation) was, I know, regarded as seemingly the "Jewish national Name of God", yet there had been Jewish scholars who maintained that God's Name will remain a secret forever, meaning that as it is holy no one will ever know its real meaning. But it seems this myth is now making room for a better understanding of the real OT Name of God (Ex. 3). (See YouTube discussions on the Name of God - indeed worthwhile taking note of).
